From an early age he was committed to faithfully reproducing reality, Fantin equally explored a more poetic style with symbolist touches.
The exhibition takes a fresh look at this unique artist, at the crossroads of realism, impressionism and symbolism, by showcasing some of the unknown facets of his creative process.
